Taizhou is a water town in the south of the Yangtze River, with water passing through the city and mountains towering. Taizhou, known at home and abroad as the source of Buddhism, is the birthplace of Buddhism Tiantai Sect. In history, many poets have visited Taizhou and left poems handed down from
generation to generation. Taizhou is an ecological blessed land with harmonious mountains, seas and waters.
Concept – The poster is based on two systems of elements: The background grid system for the Chinese characters and the typographic layout of the city name. There are no direct references or depictions, I have tried to symbolise culture as an intellectual activity with two symbolic colours: a calm, clear green and a deeper “watery” blue.
Koncepció – Két elemrendszeren nyugszik a plakát: A kínai karakterekhez tartozó háttér rácsrendszeren és a város nevének tipográfiai elrendezésén. Nincs direkt utalás és ábrázolás, a kulturát mint intellektuális tevékenységet próbáltam megjeleíteni két szimbolikus színnel: nyugodt, tiszta zölddel és mélyebb "vizes" kékkel.
